[CUPS] Canon Pixma MG5250 - /usr/lib/cups/backend/lpd failed

Bonjour,

J’ai une Canon Pixma MG5250 que je souhaite utiliser en réseau (via Wifi sur un routeur numéricable), mon desktop est sous Debian Wheezy, GNOME-Shell 3.4.

J’ai avec system-config-printer configuré mon imprimante (l’ancienne interface de GNOME pour, j’ai entendu dire que la nouvelle n’était pas totalement fonctionnelle et elle refuse de trouver mon imprimante…) et je me suis rendu dans localhost:631 et j’ai lancé une page de test, seulement j’obtient le message suivant: /usr/lib/cups/backend/lpd failed après quelques secondes.

J’ai activé le mode debug cupds.conf et j’ai dans error_log ceci:

Je suis pas doué avec les imprimantes sous Linux… Une idée? Après moultes recherches sur gogole j’ai rien trouvé.

Peut être essayer une configuration via localhost:631/admin avec mot de passe superutilisateur et chercher l’imprimante en question puis l’ajouter …

Très rapidement je me retrouve dépassé… Par exemple:

Je ne sais pas du tout quel protocol choisir… Même en cherchant un peu j’vois pas.

Il faut brancher la bête via un câble usb ou autre et là recommencer la manip … il devrait y avoir d’autres options plus compréhensibles !

J’y avais déjà pensé mais j’voulais vraiment qu’elle marche via le réseau (j’ai deux autres ordinateurs portables et j’aimerai bien qu’on puisse imprimer de partout, facilement) mais j’vais effectivement tenter de la faire fonctionner via USB… Et si je ne trouve aucune solution stable (cette imprimante marche, des fois non…) je transformerait mon desktop en serveur d’impression (c’est le PC le plus allumé de la baraqua).

voici une méthode testé pour une imprimante konica en reseau dont les drivers fourni par konica ne fonctionnait pas.

nouvelle imprimante -> AppSocket/HP JetDirect (même si ce n’est pas une imprimante hp) et indiquer socket://ip-de-l’imprimante-dans-le-reseau

Choisir un driver generic comme Generic PCL 6/PCL (ou dans le genre.)

Bon et bien j’ai résolu mon problème d’impression en réseau !

J’ai téléchargé des .deb ici support-au.canon.com.au/contents … 01702.html et j’ai juste eu à lancer en root, après avoir accordé les droits d’exécutions, le fichier install.sh, 4 questions plus tard mon imprimante fonctionne.

Je vous remercie pour l’aide que vous avez tenté de m’apporter >:-).

Maintenant j’aimerai faire fonctionner le scanner mais simple-scan ne détecte pas de scanner. Serais-ce parce que je suis en réseau ? Un sujet ici.
