Je crois que le fichier /dev/video0 (et suppose l’autre fichier aussi) se crée automatiquement lorsque tu branches un matériel comme une webcam.
Non, puisque j’ai déjà essayé.
Si /dev/v4l n’existe pas, il n’y aura pas de création de /dev/video0, ou 1 ou 2 etc…
As-tu un bouton type Fn+icône pour dés(activer) ta webcam ?
Chez moi je n’ai effectivement pas ces répertoires si je désactive la cam par ce moyen.
Non, je n’ai aucun bouton pour désactiver la webcam.
Je pense qu’il faut chercher ailleurs.
J’ai essayé d’installer des pilotes pour une clé TNT usb, en faisant ceci :

mais cela n’a pas fonctionné, j’ai eu des messages d’erreur.
Le noyau est le 3.2.0.59, peut-être est-il en cause ?
Vérifie avant le branchement de ton usb et après le branchement, si les fichiers sont là.
J’ai déjà fait cette manipulation, je viens de la refaire pour vous en convaincre; bien sûr, aucun des fichiers ni répertoires absents ne sont revenus. Il ne faut pas rêver, ni croire aux miracles.
Si des gens compétents pouvaient répondre, je leur en serais reconnaissant.

Quels autres périphériques USB sont branchés ? AVerMedia Technologies c’est un Tuner TV c’est ça ?
Es-tu sûr que tu as tapé ces commandes en ayant ta webcam branchée ? Car ça n’est pas normal qu’elle n’apparaisse pas dans lsusb (idem pour dmesg).
Les fichiers en question ont disparu après ton essaie d’installation (git clone git://linuxtv.org/media_build.git cd media_build ./build) ?

Il n’y a pas d’autres périphériques branchés.
Je suis sûr que ma webcam était branchée lors des commandes lsusb et dmesg, mais elle n’apparaît pas non plus sous l’autre linux (ou sous windows) où elle fonctionne très bien. Cette webcam n’a besoin d’aucun pilote pour fonctionner.

Oui mais… lsusb, c’est censé (à ma connaissance) afficher le périphérique dans tous les cas. On parle bien d’une webcam branchée en USB là non ?
lsusb ça interroge tout ce qui est branché, peu importe s’il y a des modules (pilotes) chargés ou pas. Tout comme le fait lspci.

Oui, un voyant s’allume lorsque je branche la webcam en usb (c’est sûr), ce voyant s’éteint au bout de quelques secondes.
Lorsque j’utilise un autre linux et le logiciel guvcview (ou encore skype) le voyant de la webcam s’allume et reste allumé (elle est active alors). Il s’éteint dès que je quitte guvcview ou skype.

Je ne sais pas si ça affectera lsusb, mais tu peux tenter de mettre à jour les libellés:

Branches-tu cette webcam directement sur le port USB, ou bien via un hub USB ?
Lorsque la cam est branchée, tu peux toujours tenter un:

Si ça ne fonctionne pas, tu peux tenter une mise à jour de ton noyau (depuis les dépots wheezy-backports si tu es sous Wheezy).
La webcam est branchée directement sur le port USB.

Installer un kernel plus récent n’est pas risqué. Tu conserveras l’ancienne version installée, donc toujours accessible dans grub.

J’ai oublié de préciser que sous LMDE (Linux Mint Debian) noyau 3.11, tout fonctionne car j’ai les fichiers /dev/video0 et /dev/v4l.
Mais c’est sous Linux Mint 13 avec le noyau 3.2.0.59 que les fichiers ont disparu.
Je suppose que la méthode pour les retrouver est la même quelle que soit la distribution de Linux !
Mais je fais peut-être une erreur en raisonnant ainsi.
J’ai lu que sous Linux Mint, la mise à jour du noyau enlève du Grub les noyaux précédents, est-ce bien réel ?
