Wifi non supporté - Mediatek 7961

Bonjour,

J’essaie vainement depuis quelques jours d’établir une connection en Wifi sur mon PC Portable, sous Debian 11, mais rien n’y fait…

Dernièrement j’ai tenté de mettre à jour la version du kernel comme suggéré via ce lien : How to install driver for Wi-Fi Mediatek MT7921 and Mediatek MT7961 in Linux - Ethical hacking and penetration testing
Mais idem, toujours pas de Wifi… :frowning:

Voir s’il ne manque pas un firmware :
$ sudo dmesg |grep firmware

J’ai eu ce genre de problème avec un Surface. J’ai essayé de charger des firmwares divers sans succès. puis j’ai essayé la version Live de Debian Bullseye. Comme j’ai vu que le système se connectait bien au Wifi, j’ai fait une installation fixe à partir du Live et du coup j’ai récupéré les bons pilotes.

Essayez d’installer firmware-misc-nonfree [non-free]
